Job Description

We are immediately hiring an Analytics Lead to join our growing team in Los Angeles (Playa Vista).

Reporting to the Head of Marketplace, you'll be responsible for delivering insights and driving business and product analytics. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making by uncovering insights through ad-hoc analysis and creating alignment via source-of-truth dashboards. Your role will encompass analyzing business performance, product usage, and user + client behavior.

Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles (Playa Vista) office 4 days/week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive business and product analytics to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to provide data-driven recommendations
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Present findings and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Participate in the design and implementation of experiments to test hypotheses and measure impact
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in analytics

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business and product analytics, ideally 4-6 years in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Hex, etc.)
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimental design
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong references from previous roles

Nice to Haves:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Economics, Business)
  • Experience in a tech-enabled startup or scaleup
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R

Compensation: The annual salary range is $145,000 - $160,000, plus equity and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, paid holidays, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
